Vietnam is an example of stable development
On the reception of Vietnamese Ambassador in Bangladesh, H.E.Mr Nguyen Van That, on February 5th, in Dahka, the Chief Advisor congratulated Vietnam on the occasion of becoming member of the World Trade Organization and non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council.
The Chief Advisor said that he wanted Vietnam to support Bangladesh for its co-option into the Ganges-Mekong Cooperation Initiative. The Chief Advisor said that he was glad that the relations between Vietnam and Bangladesh are strengthening and deepening, and hoped that the Joined Committee would help promoting further the mutual economic relation.
The Chief Advisor thanked Vietnam’s support for Bangladesh in different regional and international issues, in becoming member of the ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF), and for having provided a quick response to Bangladesh’s request on exporting rice to Bangladesh.
The Ambassador thanked the People and Government of Bangladesh for supporting Vietnam’s liberation war in the history, for actual country building and development assistance, and for the two countries’ effective cooperation on international forums./.(VNA)
