Overseas Vietnamese in Bangladesh meet to celebrate the National Reunification Day

A meeting for overseas Vietnamese was held on April 23 in Bangladesh’s capital city of Dhaka on the occasion of Hung Kings’ death anniversary and the 35 th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunitfication.

At the meeting, Vietnamese Ambassador H.E.Mr.Nguyen Van That praised the affections and contributions of Vietnamese people in Bangladesh towards their fatherland. 

He called on the Vietnamese community to always keep in mind their origin, make greater contribution to their homeland while preserving the traditional culture of Vietnamese people. 

Ambassador also highlighted important events to be hosted in Vietnam including the 1,000 founding anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi and the 120 th birthday anniversary of late President Ho Chi Minh.
